APS Outstanding Referee
Prof. Dr. Martin Holthaus, theoretical physicist at the University Oldenburg, has been honored as Outstanding Referee by the American Physical Society. The highly selective award program recognizes scientists who have been exceptionally helpful in assessing manuscripts for publication in the APS journals.

Invitation to Harvard
Prof. Dr. Katharina Al-Shamery, physical chemist at the University Oldenburg and director of the Center of Interface Science, has been invited to Harvard. The scientist specialised in nano materials belongs to a group of 50 internationally renowned personalities in research, industry and culture who have been selected as fellows at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study of Harvard University.
